Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds, is a historic architectural marvel located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, the Hawa Mahal is renowned for its intricate honeycomb-like facade adorned with numerous small windows, balconies, and latticework. The five-story structure, made of red and pink sandstone, was designed in the form of a crown for Lord Krishna. Its unique design was intended to allow royal women to observe street festivities and daily life while maintaining their privacy. The Hawa Mahal stands as an iconic symbol of Jaipur's rich cultural heritage and continues to attract visitors with its stunning craftsmanship and historical significance.
