Xizhou Baba is a traditional flavor pastry of the Bai ethnic group in Dali. Wheat flour is the main ingredient of Xizhou Baba. After filling it with filling, it is made into a round small cake. Use an oil brush to brush a layer of sesame oil on the upward side of the cake, and slowly bake the round cake over charcoal fire. The taste is fragrant, crispy, loose, sweet, or salty. Xizhou Baba is divided into two flavors: sweet and salty. Salty Baba is mainly filled with fresh minced meat, lard, chopped scallions, and a mixture of pepper and salt Sweet Baba is mainly filled with a mixture of brown sugar, rose sauce, and bean paste. One sweet and one salty, each with its own flavor.
