Openok (many. the number of openki and opyat) is a folk or non— systematic name of a group of mushrooms belonging to different genera and families. The name comes from the characteristic habitat of these fungi: most of them grow on living and dead wood, on stumps. The meadow sawdust lives in completely different conditions, but its fruit bodies are outwardly similar to the sawdust.
