The Canadian Goose Branta Candaensis is long associated with Canada, but as a migratory bird, can actually be found throughout Northern America year round, and even parts of Europe. Despite their population having faced heavy loss during the 1950's-'60's from hunting for wild food, these herbivores birds not only can eat aquatic plants but also small fish and insects. But it's because that they have learned to not only beg for food but even attack people for their foods that they can now be found year round in urban parks like Golden Gate Park, as seen 10 February 2022.
