The Celtic cross or St. Patrick's cross is a pre-Christian Celtic symbol which was appropriated by some far-right political movements such as Nazism, but also by sports associations whose most common meaning is that of a solar symbol, but also of a symbol of union between the earthly world and the heavenly world.
