The great tit has a length of between 13.5 and 15 cm, has greenish plumage on the back, with a bluish gray tail and wings. The head and throat are shiny black, with white cheeks. The black part on the head resembles a mask that covers the entire head. The yellow chest is crossed longitudinally by a black line from the throat to the abdomen which, in males, is slightly wider. She easily becomes confident towards humans and can even accept food offered to her directly with her hands.
