The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry (MASAF) is a ministry of the Italian government. It is responsible for the elaboration and coordination of agricultural, forestry, agri-food policies as well as for horse racing and fisheries at national, European and international level, representing Italy within the European Union for matters of competence. Inside, visitors are surprised to discover numerous valuable works by artists from all over Italy. Paintings, frescoes, stained glass windows, wrought iron decorations, works from different eras testify to the value that art has always reserved for agriculture, reminding us, now more than ever, how important the relationship between man and the land is.
