The view of the south west transept is dominated by the massive stained glass window on the south side – known as the Great South Window . This is the largest window in the cathedral.Decorated Gothic window in the cathedral and is in the Kent style with split cusps and pendants in the tracery. Canterbury Cathedral's most celebrated feature is its wonderful collection of stained glass, much of it dating back to the late 12th and early 13th centuries including a sequence of the Ancestors of Christ and the especially beautiful 'Miracle windows' in the ambulatory (relating various miracles associated with Becket's shrine).
