Pictured is the National Historic Landmark plaque for the John Nance Garner House in Uvalde, Texas. The National Park Service United States Department of the Interior designated the house a national historic landmark in 1977 for possessing national significance in commemorating the history of the Untied States of America. John Nance Garner and his son Tulley gifted the house to the City of Uvalde in 1952. Garner was vice-president under Franklin D. Roosevelt from 1933 to 1941.
