The tenement house no. 23 Pod Kotwik? is located at the Wa?brzych Market Square at no. 23. In Stein's "Waldenburg in Schlesien, Monographien deutscher Städte" from 1925 there is information that in the place of the tenement house in the years 1191-1440 there stood a guest monastery (today we would rather call it a pilgrim's house). According to various sources, the initiator of the construction of the tenement house was the merchant I.G. Ansorge or another merchant, Ernst Treutler. In the upper part of the façade there is the number MDCCXCIX, i.e. the date of completion of the house (1799). owner with overseas countries that are recipients of the canvas (England, the Netherlands, Spain, America)
