Built entirely in stone, the Tourém Village Oven is one of the elements of built heritage that best demonstrates the ancient traditions and community way of life of the Barroso people. The oven baked bread for several people, and during the waiting time, it became a space for coexistence. Currently it no longer works, or works only occasionally on special occasions, and can be visited.De Barroso or Tierras de Barroso, traditional name of the region formed by the municipalities of Montalegre and Boticas.
