Succulent plants, also known as succulents, are plants with parts that are thickened, fleshy, and engorged, usually to retain water in arid climates or soil conditions. The storage of water often gives succulent plants a more swollen or fleshy appearance than other plants, a characteristic known as succulence. San Vito Lo Capo is a town and comune in North-Western Sicily, Italy, administratively part of the province of Trapani. The small town is located in a valley between mountains, and is home to a public beach that is destination of local vacationers. San Vito Lo Capo is a well-known rock climbing destination, along the coast is a coastal cliff. To the south of San Vito lo Capo is the Riserva naturale dello Zingaro.
