The Pharaoh Hound or Kelb tal-Fenek takes its name from the resemblance to the dogs represented in the tombs of the Egyptian pharaohs. Originating from Malta, these dogs are believed to be one of the oldest domesticated breeds. With their sleek, short coat, elegant lines, and striking copper-red color, they are often referred to as the "aristocrats of the canine world."
