Zhujiajiao Town is located in the south-central part of Qingpu District, Shanghai, close to Dianshan Lake Scenic Area. The ancient town has a long history. As early as the Three Kingdoms period more than 1,700 years ago, it was already a village. In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, the rice industry in Zhujiajiao emerged, which once again led to the prosperity of all industries. At that time, "the long street was three miles long and there were thousands of shops." There was a saying that "the three Jings (Zhujing, Fengjing, and Sijing) were not as good as Yijiao (Zhujiajiao)." In 1991, it was listed as one of the four famous towns in Shanghai and is also one of the important tourist attractions in Shanghai.
