Located in the northern part of the city of Bac?u, at the exit to Piatra Neam?, in the vicinity of National Road 15, near the right bank of the dike bordering the Bârnat gorge, the new parish was born from a pastoral need that had been felt for a long time in the city of Bac?u, but which could not come to life faster due to the communist regime. Immediately after the revolution of December 1989, various requests and proposals were submitted by the faithful to the deanery of Bac?u, and then from the deanery of Bac?u to the bishopric of Iasi for the establishment of two parishes in the city of Bac?u.
