Along the Chao Phraya River, crowds gathered near Wat Arun to witness the grand Royal Barge Procession, a highlight of Thai culture. Workers cleaned the river while officials prepared for security as the majestic barges waited for their moment. However, as excitement built, heavy rain began to pour. Despite everyone s anticipation, the procession was cancelled.Though disappointed, a few travelers managed to capture rain-soaked shots of the barges as they returned. Even with the change of plans, the fleeting beauty of the royal vessels against the stormy backdrop created a memorable, if unexpected, travel experience in Bangkok.
