Trees in forrest offer many well known environmental benefits. These same benefits extend to trees intensionally planted along sidewalks as well. These include providing shade to people as well as to the animals who inhabit the tree. The trees roots absorb the excess water from rain runoff, reducing flooding. Trees also absorb many gasses that are toxic many animal forms.
