Co-anchors of the PBS Newshour, Judy Woodruff and Gwen Ifill bookend honorees Bopha Phorn, Najiba Ayubi, and Edna Machiori, as they arrive on the red carpet for the International Women's Media Foundation 2013 Courage In Journalism And Lifetime Achievement Awards at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City on October 23, 2013. Among this year's honorees were Najiba Ayubi, Director, The Killid Group, Afghanistan Bopha Phorn, reporter, The Cambodian Daily and Edna Machirori, the first black female editor in Zimbabwe. Machirori received the IWMF Lifetime Achievement Award. Ifill died from cancer in 2016, in Washington, DC, at the age of 61.
