The Trocadero square, or Trocadero gardens, is located in the sixteenth arrondissement of Paris, on the banks of the Seine River and across from the Eiffel Tower. It occupies an area of 93,930 m² and was created for the Universal Exhibition of 1937, in the place where they were formerly located the palace gardens of the Trocadero, a palace of Moorish style, the work of Jean-Charles Alphand, built for the Universal Exhibition Paris, 1878. located limited to one side by the river Seine and the other by the Palais de Chaillot. The square is known for its famous fountain of Warsaw (1937), a work by architect Roger-Henri Expert, formed by a series of cascading ponds that feed a large rectangular pool where water cannons that launch jets from the edges.
