In Central Russia from the border with Belarus to Moscow, and in other regions of the huge number of memorials, mass graves and monuments to soldiers who died in the 2nd World War when the defence of the country from the Nazis. Most of the monuments set during the Soviet years and are the classic architecture of the era.
