Ethnographic museum Ether or museum is open-air museum in the eponymous district of Gabrovo.nnIt represents a reconstruction of the Bulgarian customs, culture and craftsmanship. It is the first museum of its kind in Bulgaria. Inaugurated on September 7, 1964 The museum is located 8 km south of the main part of Gabrovo.nnAt EMO Ether is the only one in Bulgaria collection of folk technique of water. It contains 10 exhibits and is one of the rich and well-organized technical collections in European museums outdoors. This is the reason waterwheel to become the emblem of the museum. The most important feature of the collection is that all objects are in action, as in the past.
