Ali is also called “Ngari” in Tibetan Language, located in western Tibet and the most mysterious place in the region known as the “roof of the world”. It is situated at an average altitude of 4, 500 meters above sea level, Covering an area almost one-fourth of Tibet of 310, 000 square kilometers. The mountain ranges in West Tibet are the Himalayas, the Gangdise, the Kunlun, and the Karakorum, on the fours sides of this region. It has unique and rich historical and religious cultural relics and exotic nature view. All these have made Ali an attraction to visitors, travellers, and adventurors.
